Protecting your personal data is very important to us. We use it in compliance with the content of these provisions regarding data protection, as well as with any applicable regulations regarding data protection.
This notice aims to inform you of our methods for the collection, processing and use of your data.
Our digital presence may contain links towards other digital solutions which are not under our control and are therefore not covered by this document. If you access other digital solutions through the provided links, the administrators of these solutions may, at their discretion, collect information about you, which they shall use in compliance with their own privacy notices.

3. Scope
This directive applies to any person who may come in contact with employees of MW Programmation SA, MW France Sàrl and MW CADCAM GmbH. Such interactions may be conducted in person, via a telephone call, by mail or email, through our website or through our digital presence (client space, newsletters, social media, etc.). Each person shall agree to this data protection notice.
4. Collection and Use of Data
4.1. Cookie Policy
Like most websites, we use "cookies". Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer. Every time you access our website, the following information is collected: the type of browser being used and your operating system. Activating cookies does not present any security risk.
We use this data to operate our website, which includes detecting and correcting website errors, determining the website's usage rate and carrying out adjustments or improvements.

4.2. Use of Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics for our website. This is a web-based analysis service provided by Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA, whose representative for Europe is Google Limited Ireland ("Google").
Google Analytics allows us to analyse our website's usage, for instance by measuring our website's audience and the performance of third-party links leading to our website. The information generated by these cookies, as well as information about your usage of our website (including your anonymised IP address), is transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.

4.3. Use of Google Maps
We use Google Maps (API) for our website. This is a service provided by Google LLC, Mountain View, California, USA, whose representative for Europe is Google Limited Ireland ("Google").
Google Maps offers interactive maps which allow the visualisation of geographical information. Using this service allows users to locate our offices and go there more easily.
When you visit web pages that contain an embedded Google Maps map, information regarding your usage of our website (such as your IP address) is transferred to Google's servers in the United States, where it is stored.

4.4. Data Protection on Our “MW Portal”
When creating an account on our portal (“Client Space”), the following information is requested:
- Name of the company
- Surname, given name and role within the company
- Email address
The portal allows users to view data regarding our products, to download the latest versions of our software programs, and to ask questions to our technical support.
If you wish us to erase your personal data from our portal, please send an email clearly stating your deletion request to sales@mwprog.ch.
4.5. Protecting Your Data Regarding Your Subscription to Our Newsletter
We regularly share information about our products and events with our newsletter subscribers. Clients may subscribe through our website, by first sharing their email address.
You may choose to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any given time, by clicking on the link which reads "unsubscribe from this list" at the bottom of the received email. You may also send us an email at sales@mwprog.ch, asking us to unsubscribe you.
We use Mailchimp to send and manage our newsletters. Mailchimp is a service provided by an American company, The Rocket Science Group LLC. Mailchimp enables us to send and analyse newsletters. Through various technologies, we know whether the newsletter has arrived, if it has been opened and on which contents the recipient has clicked. This information is used to improve our newsletters.
4.6. Commercial Requests
To be able to follow up on a commercial request, we need to collect the following personal data:
- The business' name and mailing address
- The contact's surname, given name and email address
The mandatory data mentioned above is needed to process your request. You may also provide us with additional data on a voluntary basis.
5. Transfer of Your Personal Data
We will not transfer your personal data to third parties, unless you have agreed to this data transfer or unless we are authorised or obligated to transfer said data to comply with legal requirements and/or administrative or judicial orders. This includes communicating information for criminal proceedings, for the prevention of threats or to enforce intellectual property rights.
6. Data Safety
Any information you share with us is stored on servers located in Switzerland (at the exception of third-party suppliers, as mentioned above). Sadly, data transfers over the internet are not entirely secure. For this reason, we cannot guarantee the safety of data transferred to our website via the internet. However, we do protect our own website and our other systems against the loss, destruction, access, modification or broadcasting of your personal data by unauthorised persons, through technical and organisational means. Your personal data, specifically, is transferred to us in an encrypted format. We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption system for this purpose.
Furthermore, our companies' employees are obligated to protect your data and the confidentiality of any shared information at all times.
We only store personal data for the time needed to achieve the goal for which it was collected. We may store it for a longer period if legal or regulatory requirements or other outstanding interests make it necessary. At the end of the storage period, your personal data will be erased or anonymised.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to request information regarding your personal data that is processed by us. For example, you may request information about your personal data itself, the goal for which it is processed, its storage period or, if this is not possible, the criteria used to determine said period, the data’s origin if it wasn't collected from you, the potential existence of an automated individual decision and, if applicable, the recipients or recipient categories with whom your personal data is shared.
You also have the right to have us correct your data and to revoke at any time the consent you may have given regarding the use of your personal data. Ultimately, it can be erased upon your request.
You can assert your rights mentioned hereinabove at any time by reaching us at the contact address provided at point "2. Data Protection Officers"
Should you think that we are handling your personal data in a manner that is contrary to current regulations regarding data protection, you may file a complaint to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (in Switzerland).
8. Modification of This Data Protection Policy
We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time for future effect. An updated version is available on our website. We invite you to visit the website regularly and to remain informed about our current data protection policy.
